§ 15.44.040. Annual review of inspection fee schedule.

The fire department chief shall report to the city commission each year and provide a financial summary of all fire code inspections completed in the previous year, including the actual cost of conducting the inspections and drafting reports or certificates and the average per hour cost of this work. The commission shall then adjust the inspection fee up or down so as to compensate the city for the average actual cost of this work.
